Events and Fireworks in the Kissimmee and Orlando Area for July 4th American Independence Day 2011.

There is a choice of fourth of July celebrations to take part in around the Orlando Florida area 2011.

At the Disney Theme Parks, special presentations and performances will take place with a patriotic feel. The Magic Kingdom is presenting ‘Disney's Celebrate America. A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.’ Beginning at 9.00pm

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be celebrating Independence Day with a Rock and Roll feel. The show begins at 9.45pm.

At Epcot ‘IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth’ will have a traditional American sentiment added to the usual nightly firework spectacular event called ‘The Heartbeat of Freedom.’ Starting at 10pm.

The town of Celebration is holding an evening of re-living the 1980’s, with music and dressing up in the 80’s style. Fireworks will begin at 9.30pm.

At Universal Orlando a special patriotic ending will be added to their firework park ending show called ‘Universal 360: A Cinesphere Spectacular.’

Downtown Orlando’s festivities start at 4.00pm, where you will find food, entertainment and fireworks at Lake Eola Park from 9.30pm.

The City of Kissimmee are holding a free concert at Lakefront Park with arts and crafts, live entertainment and a water ski show, festivities begin at 5.00pm and fireworks to complete the evening at 9.30pm.

Kennedy Space Center, Star Trek Exhibition.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is holding a Star Trek exhibition for the summer of 2011.

Star Trek enthusiasts and anyone interested in space will find this appealing as there will be lots to see and do on the subject of space fiction and non fiction.

Visit a recreation of the bridge from the U.S.S.Enterprise and quests can even sit in the Captains chair! On show will be the original costumes and props from the TV series and films. The exhibit is open until September 2011.
